our clients through contracts controlled by Pre-set KPI's (Availability, Reliability, HSE Conformity) to ensure the optimum performance of maintenance

implementation. BWD has well trained staff who had gained the various maintenance technologies by maintaining/ handling a diversity of process of Drilling rigs with

its related operation techniques and safety hazards inside the Oil & Gas sector. Maintenance workshop supported with multi-discipline professional technical staff,

covering mechanical, machinery, electrical, instrumentation/control. BWD has developed capabilities that encompass proven processes, quality assurance, and

specialized maintenance management techniques for our rigs. A highly trained and professional staff is available 24 hours to handle any problem that arises,

providing all needed supplies and materials, handling all operational problems. Our team are experienced with the QHSE regulations & standards related to such

premises.

Maintenance Services:

For a company who owns more than $500 Million of assets, a proper maintenance

setup should be in place to grant the stability and life span of such assets hence

the sustainability and development of the business through the following:

· Maintenance Engineering (Risk-Based).

· Maintenance Planning, Management (including a full implementation of a CMMS).

· Execution of Maintenance programs (preventive, predictive, corrective, overhaul).

· Execution of upgrading, expansion and modification to existing facilities.

· Major Equipment Overhauling

In BWD maintenance operations covers the following sections

Preventive maintenance:

Is the day to day jobs being performed by the technical hands found on the rigs

they are supervised by the field foremen that ensure that all maintenance jobs are

done using the verified spare parts and according to OEM recommendations and

procedures which is provided by the PMS engineers who are always ready to give

any technical support.

Predictive maintenance:

Burgan drilling follows a five year overhaul procedure done to all the major drilling

equipment. This is done in the main workshop located in Shuaiba Industrial Area,

the equipment is completely dismantled, sandblasted, inspected and assembled

as per OEM with OEM technical representation present.

Failure and Troubleshooting:

Is done by our highly experienced personnel which are dispatched to the rigs were

a failure or malfunction of equipment has occurred, they assist the technical

hands on site and assess the situation and come up with best solution or repair

for the issue.

The maintenance teams of rig equipment are capable of performing several major

repairs like Top Drive, Mud Pump, Draw Works, Crown & Traveling Blocks,

Caterpillar Engines, Rotary Table, BPOP Control Unit, Iron Roughneck, etc…

BWD Maintenance Facilities:

The built up maintenance facility area is about 6,000 sqrm in Shuaiba consist of

separate designated areas for all types of maintenance as Fleet Maintenance,

Diesel Engine Section, Drilling Equipment Section, Wilding And Fabrication

Section, and the Machine Shop.

Moreover, BWD have two substantial large areas Ahmadi Yard and Burgan Yard,

where major assemblies and commissioning are performed.

Maintenance Machinery and Equipment:

BWD Maintenance facility in Shuaiba is equipped with all necessary machinery

and handling equipment to conduct all maintenance jobs. With 4 Overhead Cranes

16 Tons, 2 Overhead Cranes 10 Tons, Bering Oven, 400 Ton Hydraulic Press, lathe

machines, etc.

BWD Maintenance Team:

BWD have over 70 qualified and OEM trained specialists and crew members. The

team includes 7 Mechanical Engineers, 4 Electrical Engineers, and 10 Technical

Diploma holders.
